It was designed and built for exactly that purpose. Half way between Oxford and Cheltenham, in the centre of the Cotswolds, it is easy to reach from anywhere in UK. Recent alterations to the site now mean we can provide additional accommodation by way of 5 "en suite" Studio bedrooms located next to the Barn and a separate 2 bedroomed self contained cottage. As a result we could sleep up to 36.
The Barn
In the Barn there are 11 beautiful bedrooms; 9 have en-suite wet-room showers and 2 interconnecting rooms have an adjoining shower room.
So Bedroom accommodation is for 22.
The huge living space, with a heated flagstone floor, wood burning stove, gallery and beams, is probably the best barn conversion for miles around. The dining space can seat up to 30, and the kitchen has everything you would ever want; it's a cooks delight.
If self-catering for 20 or more is not your idea of a break, then we have a list of country cooks and chefs who will come and look after you.
Weekday bookings are normally taken up by businesses and these can be tailored to their requirements. Most of our family bookings are for weekends, Friday afternoon 4pm to Monday morning 10am.
The countryside
On the National Trust Sherborne Estate, 5 miles west of Burford, with spectacular views across the Windrush Valley, the location is perfect for a family get-together, or intimate and inspiring business meetings.
