Check in time is from 4pm onwards. Bridget will be in contact ahead of your stay to arrange a time to meet you at the property to give you the access code for the main door. She will also show you around to ensure you have all the information you need to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

Check out time is by 10am or earlier.

We endeavour to be as flexible as possible for a later check-out time, however this will depend on availability and the amount of time needed to prepare the Barn for the next guests. Requests can be made in advance of your stay and we will do everything we can to make this possible, however at peak times this may not be possible.

Included in the rental price are electricity, bottled gas for the gas hob and the barbecue, logs for the wood-burning stove, use of sheets and towels, kitchen crockery and utensils and a small supply of basic kitchen essentials.

This is primarily a self catering holiday let; however we like to have a good selection of basics on hand including salt, pepper, washing up liquid, tea-towels, cleaning materials and tablets for the two dishwashers to get you started. Occasionally guests leave a few surplus items so that we keep up a comprehensive stock.

Bed linen and towels are provided for all guests.

Shampoo, shower gel and hand wash is in ensuite’s and bathrooms throughout the property.

No, you don’t need to strip the bed or make it before departing from Cats Abbey. Our team will handle this as part of their routine cleaning and preparation for the next guests.

Please remove all rubbish from kitchen and place in the rubbish area outside the kitchen. All furniture should be moved back to its original place.

You are welcome to decorate the Barn with items that do not require nails or screws to hold in place.
Please remove all decorations and props and take them away with you, this includes larger items such as wedding props as we do not have the facilities to dispose of these.
If you move any furniture around, please ensure it is moved back to its original position by the end of your stay.
